2.0 Update and Svelte 5 migration
I have just finished v2.0 of the site which includes: a new blog, rss, and migration to svelte 5!February 17, 2025
Hey all, welcome to the new site! This is version 2.0 of katspace! Here's a quick rundown of the new stuff:
First of all, the blog and rss feed! I've finally decided to start a blog on this site (mainly just so I could implement the rss feed lol) And this is the first post! This is my first time doing a blog but I'll try to post at least somewhat frequently about site updates, stuff I'm doing, etc.
Another thing I worked on is migrating to svelte 5 which will (hopefully) increase site performance and make it easier for me to develop. This also gave me the excuse to refactor some old code to make it much more readable and less buggy.
I've also been working on some new features for the site that aren't quite ready for release but they may be finished in the near future.
I'm also planning on releasing a blog post for the 1-year anniversary for this site and nekoweb. So stay tuned for that.
